It was a busy Monday night on the networks. On ABC, week two of Dancing with the Stars went pretty well as it was down just three tenths in viewers and a tenth in the demo. Things did not go as well for Castle as it was down nine tenths in viewers and a tenth in the demo, finishing third in an underwhelming time period. According to other sources, it's not a sure thing that this show will come back. On NBC, The Voice was down four tenths in viewers and even in the demo while The Night Shift was even in viewers but up two tenths in the demo to tie its season premiere demo. It also beat Castle for the time period. It's still not enough, but it's not continuing to drop so that's good.

Over on CBS, the comedies had a weak showing. 2 Broke Girls was down a million viewers and two tenths in the demo while Mike & Molly was down eight tenths in viewers and a tenth in the demo. At 9pm, Scorpion continued to do well. It was down nine tenths in viewers but up a tenth in the demo. At a 2.1 demo, it had the second best demo of the night. At 10pm, NCIS: Los Angeles was down 1.3 million viewers and two tenths in the demo from its surprisingly strong showing two weeks ago. Finally, FOX had two episodes of The Following and they were up from recent weeks, but still pretty low.

WINNER OF THE NIGHT: Scorpion (CBS)
LOSER OF THE NIGHT: Castle (ABC)
