It was another Super Bowl for the record books on Sunday night as Super Bowl XLIX between the Patriots and Seahawks became the all time most watched event in TV history. It beat last year's Super Bowl by over two million viewers, a healthy mark considering how the season has gone for the NFL. The close game and tons of press coverage for events like Deflategate certainly helped. The Super Bowl lead-out program was The Blacklist. At 25.7 million viewers, it beat last year's New Girl/Brooklyn Nine-Nine combo on FOX and 2013's Elementary on CBS. Of course it was the best performance ever for The Blacklist but we'll see soon enough how many viewers follow it to its new night on Thursday.
