RENEWAL ALERT: American Idol

Despite the fact that it continued to fall apart this season, American Idol will be returning for a 15th season next year. Idol has seen a lot of upheaval in its judging panel over the years and despite more praise for the current judges, TV's former number one show has really been hurting, dipping as low as a 1.5 demo on Thursday night's results show. It seems as though this show's days are numbered and some are speculating that FOX will try to reunite Simon Cowell, Paula Abdul, and Randy Jackson for a final season - whenever that is, which could easily be in the next couple years.

Idol joins Bob's Burgers, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Bones, Family Guy, The Following, Glee, Masterchef Junior, The Mindy Project, New Girl, The Simpsons, and Sleepy Hollow to the renewal list with the other Gordon Ramsay shows sure bets.
