Wednesday night has another series premiere: NBC's heavily promoted spinoff of Chicago Fire, Chicago PD. I think it will see a pretty good debut considering what the numbers have been like in this slot. Both PD and Law & Order: SVU may benefit by CBS not having its regular crime dramas. In their place is the People's Choice Awards, which aren't usually a big factor against competition, but they are usually a decent performer. I'd be surprised to see this year top last year's 2.7 demo though. ABC is all new with its mostly regular lineup (a second Super Fun Night airs at 8:30pm ahead of next week's season premiere of Suburgatory). The lineup should see numbers close to normal.
