GOOD WEEK/BAD WEEK: November 23, 2013

GOOD WEEK: CBS
Through Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, not one CBS show is down week to week except the dead show walking Hostages. How I Met Your Mother, 2 Broke Girls, Mike & Molly, Mom, NCIS, Person of Interest, Survivor, and Two and a Half Men were even with last week while NCIS: Los Angeles, Criminal Minds, CSI, The Big Bang Theory, The Millers, The Crazy Ones, and Elementary were up. That's a rare feat in an era where at least a couple shows seem to tank every week. The new normal is slightly dropping so staying even or going up nearly across the board is definitely a win for the Eye Network.

BAD WEEK: FOX FRIDAY
There were many eyebrows raised when FOX announced they were moving the reliable Bones to Friday to pair it with comedy Raising Hope. Even more eyebrows were raised when FOX followed through with the plan despite the successful pairing of Bones with the new Sleepy Hollow on Monday while The X Factor and Glee were tanking on Thursday. But FOX went through with the plan to make room for Almost Human on Mondays and the results were disastrous after one week. Bones lost nearly half its audience from Monday while Raising Hope premiered to DOA numbers. FOX announced midseason plans that keep things in place but if Almost Human slips, I can't imagine FOX not bringing it back to Mondays. At the very least, it should have been Glee or The X Factor results on Fridays.
