Friday night had the premiere of NBC's new lineup. Dateline NBC started things off at its new 8pm time. It was up four tenths in viewers and even in the demo. At 9pm, the third season premiere of Grimm delivered its best Friday demo in a year as it continues to have its own audience on Fridays. Two years ago, it had a very surprising premiere and now here it is with its own niche on the night. At 10pm, the series premiere of Dracula was very compatible, at least for this week with a solid 1.8 demo premiere that topped the series premieres of Welcome to the Family, Ironside, and Sean Saves the World for NBC. Dracula did have a big drop at the half hour so we'll see how week two goes, but it's a good start. It's worth noting that NBC had better demo numbers for Grimm and Dracula than anything that aired on Wednesday or Thursday for them this week.

CBS started things off with Undercover Boss which was down six tenths in viewers and two tenths in the demo from last week's season high. At 9pm, Hawaii Five-0 was up seven tenths in viewers and even in the demo despite new scripted competition on NBC. At 10pm, Blue Bloods was up seven tenths in viewers and even in the demo. Over on ABC, Shark Tank was up seven tenths in viewers and even in the demo even though it had repeats as a lead-in. At 10pm, 20/20 was up a big 2 million viewers and three tenths in the demo. Looks like it benefited from not having Dateline as competition in the hour. Finally on FOX, Masterchef Junior was down a tenth in viewers and up a tenth in the demo.
