On Tuesday night, FOX had the season premiere of typical summer player Hell's Kitchen. It did decently and was definitely an improvement over the FOX comedies this side of New Girl, but I think it also could have been better with such limited competition. Elsewhere, ABC had a very low night though Celebrity Wife Swap was up nine tenths in viewers and a tenth in the demo. The season finale of The Taste was up three tenths in viewers and even in the demo. It's unlikely it'll be back for a second season even though it's probably cheap to make. At 10pm, Body of Proof was even in viewers and down a tenth in the demo. On CBS, Golden Boy followed repeats but held up ok as it was down nine tenths in viewers and just a tenth in the demo. It might perk back up when NCIS: Los Angeles is new again. And on NBC, Smash was up two tenths in viewers and a tenth in the demo but it wasn't enough as it has been benched to Saturdays effective in a couple weeks.
