Friday night marked the end of Fringe's run on FOX after five years and 100 episodes. The finale was up nine tenths in viewers and three tenths in the demo but was still very low overall. The last two years have seen abysmal ratings for this show but it managed to last partly so FOX could prove it can stick with a genre show. Fringe didn't make much of a mark in the ratings beyond its first year but it had a very loyal following. Elsewhere, CBS's Friday lineup seems to be stronger lately. Undercover Boss was up four tenths in viewers and a tenth in the demo, CSI: NY was even in viewers and the demo, and Blue Bloods was up four tenths in viewers and down a tenth in the demo.

Over on ABC, the 8pm comedies hit series lows as Last Man Standing was down three tenths in viewers and the demo while Malibu Country was down two tenths in viewers and the demo. A 1.2 demo is too low but this show seems to swing up and down. A Shark Tank repeat had the best demo of the night for ABC while 20/20 was down six tenths in viewers and three tenths in the demo. On NBC, Dateline NBC was down six tenths in viewers and two tenths in the demo.
