THE RUNDOWN: Monday, June 25 & Tuesday, June 26

MONDAY

ABC
8:00 The Bachelorette
10:00 The Glass House
ABC is all new with its reality combo. The Glass House got off to a ho-hum start despite a lot of controversy surrounding the show within the industry. I'd expect similar numbers to last week for both shows.

CBS
8:00 How I Met Your Mother #149 "Tailgate" (REPEAT)
8:30 2 Broke Girls #6 "And the Disappearing Bed" (REPEAT)
9:00 Two and a Half Men #180 "Big Girls Don't Throw Food" (REPEAT)

NBC
8:00 US Olympic Trials: Swimming
9:00 America's Got Talent
10:00 American Ninja Warrior
NBC is all new all night and could see increases with Las Vegas week for America's Got Talent and the lineup settling back into regularity.

FOX8:00 Hell's Kitchen
9:00 MasterChef
FOX is all new with its regular lineup. I'd expect similar numbers to last week.

TUESDAY

NBC
8:00 US Olympic Trials: Swimming

FOX is new with its regular shows and will probably see similar numbers.

THE RUNDOWN: Monday, June 18 & Tuesday, June 19

MONDAY

ABC
8:00 The Bachelorette
10:00 The Glass House (SERIES PREMIERE)
On Monday night, ABC has a new episode of The Bachelorette followed by the series premiere of The Glass House amidst a legal battle with CBS who claims it is a direct ripoff of Big Brother. I would expect decent numbers for both shows by summer standards.

CBS
8:00 How I Met Your Mother #148 "Symphony of Illumination" (REPEAT)
8:30 2 Broke Girls #21 "And the Messy Purse Smackdown" (REPEAT)
9:00 Two and a Half Men #179 "People Who Love Peepholes" Part 2 (REPEAT)

10:30 Two and a Half Men #182 "A Giant Cat Holding a Churro" (REPEAT)

NBC
8:00 America's Got Talent
9:00 American Ninja Warrior
NBC is back with its regular Monday shows after a week off due to the Stanley Cup Finals. I would expect numbers to be where they were two weeks ago.

FOX8:00 Hell's Kitchen
9:00 MasterChef
FOX has its reality duo which could easily lead the night in the demo.

TUESDAY

ABC8:00 Jimmy Kimmel Live Game Night (SPECIAL)
8:30 NBA Countdown
9:00 NBA Finals Game 4: Oklahoma City at Miami
On Tuesday, ABC has Game 4 of the NBA Finals and it should continue to be dominant.

9:00 NCIS: Los Angeles #60 "The Watchers" (REPEAT)
10:00 48 Hours Mystery (REPEAT)

NBC
8:00 America's Got Talent (REPEAT)
9:00 America's Got Talent (REPEAT)
10:00 Love in the Wild
NBC is only new at 10pm with Love in the Wild which could be down with less of a lead-in and against the NBA.

FOX8:00 Hell's Kitchen
9:00 MasterChef
FOX is all new with its Mon/Tues combo. I'd expect similar results to last week.

On Thursday night, it was all about the NBA Finals again as it was up from Game 1 and posted the best Game 2 numbers in years. FOX had the second week of its game show. Take Me Out tumbled seven tenths in viewers and two tenths in the demo to a low 1.1. The Choice was down eight tenths in viewers and two tenths in the demo but skewed young against the NBA Finals. Finally on NBC, Saving Hope was up eight tenths in viewers and even in the demo from its series premiere last week while Rock Center was up seven tenths in viewers and a tenth in the demo.

There was not much going on for broadcast TV on Wednesday night. FOX's So You Think You Can Dance led the pack as it was dead even with last week. ABC aired Duets on a different night which was down to a series low for this summer flop. Finally, CBS's Dogs in the City was up four tenths in viewers and two tenths in the demo.

On Tuesday, Game 1 of the NBA Finals between Oklahoma City and the hated Miami Heat was up nicely from last year to a strong 6.9 demo. NBC started with American Ninja Warrior which was preempted on Monday and it was below its usual Monday numbers. At 9pm, America's Got Talent took an understandable hit against the NBA as it was down 1.4 million viewers and half a demo point. At 10pm, Love in the Wild was even in viewers and down a tenth in the demo from its season premiere last week. On FOX, Hell's Kitchen was up four tenths in viewers and a tenth in the demo while MasterChef was up a tenth in viewers and down a tenth in the demo.

8:30 Suburgatory #20 "Hear No Evil" (REPEAT)
9:00 Modern Family #68 "The Last Walt" (REPEAT)

9:00 Criminal Minds #154 "A Family Affair" (REPEAT)
10:00 CSI #264 "Tressed to Kill" (REPEAT)

THURSDAY

ABC
8:00 Jimmy Kimmel Live Game Night (SPECIAL)
8:30 NBA Countdown (SPECIAL)
9:00 NBA Finals Game 2: Miami at Oklahoma City
ABC has night two of the NBA Finals. We'll have a better idea of how it'll do after seeing Tuesday's ratings for Game 1.

CBS
8:00 The Big Bang Theory #102 "The Friendship Contraction" (REPEAT)
8:30 2 Broke Girls #4 "And the Rich People Problems" (REPEAT)
9:00 Person of Interest #15 "Blue Code" (REPEAT)
10:00 The Mentalist #79 "The Redshirt" (REPEAT)

NBC

8:30 Parks and Recreation #57 "The Comeback Kid" (REPEAT)
9:00 Saving Hope #2 "Contact"
10:00 Rock Center with Brian Williams
NBC is all new from 9-11pm but I'd expect miniscule ratings that might be down from last week especially with tougher competition on ABC.

FOX
8:00 Take Me Out
9:00 The Choice
FOX has week two of its two new dating shows. I would expect drops especially since they're competing with the NBA this week.

FOX was on top on Monday night with its unscripted combo as both were up nicely from their season premieres last week. Hell's Kitchen was up eight tenths in viewers and four tenths in the demo while MasterChef was up nine tenths in viewers and four tenths in the demo. On ABC, The Bachelorette was up six tenths in viewers and a tenth in the demo. NBC was forced to air the Stanley Cup Finals instead of the higher rated America's Got Talent when the series went to a Game 6. The good news is it was up from previous games.

Viewers: 3.0 million, 18-49 demo: 1.3

On Sunday night, ABC was all new with its reality combo of Secret Millionaire and Extreme Makeover: Weight Loss Edition. Both shows were on par with their season premieres last week - not great, but probably good enough for ABC. CBS started with 60 Minutes which was down 1.7 million viewers and three tenths in the demo from last week. At 8pm, the Tony Awards was down from last year to its worst numbers since 1991. Unlike in 1991 though, these numbers aren't atypical for summer numbers so I don't think fans of the Tonys have to worry about it being dropped. On NBC, Dateline NBC was up eight tenths in viewers and two tenths in the demo.

Thursday night had three summer premieres. FOX had two dating game shows. 8pm entry Take Me Out didn't do much but The Choice did alright at 9pm with the second best demo numbers next to a repeat of The Big Bang Theory. NBC's premiere of scripted medical drama Saving Hope did absolutely nothing while Rock Center did no worse than it was doing in the regular season. Over on ABC, Duets continued to fall as week three was down six tenths in viewers and three tenths in the demo. This is a big summer flop for ABC. At 10pm, Rookie Blue was down two tenths in viewers and a tenth in the demo.

SUNDAY

ABC
7:00 America's Funniest Home Videos (REPEAT)
8:00 Secret Millionaire
9:00 Extreme Makeover: Weight Loss Edition
ABC is all new from 8-11pm with its reality combo. Last week's premiere numbers were underwhelming and I'd expect more of the same this week.

CBS
7:00 60 Minutes
8:00 66th Annual Tony Awards (SPECIAL)
CBS is all new with 60 Minutes and the Tony Awards broadcast. The Tonys aren't usually a huge draw but they have popular host Neil Patrick Harris back again. Still I wouldn't be surprised to see this show down a bit year-to-year with the nominees not as high profile as The Book of Mormon last year.

Viewers: 4.9 million, 18-49 demo: 2.1
9:00 Masterchef
Viewers: 4.7 million, 18-49 demo: 2.2

On Tuesday night, NBC and FOX were all new. NBC started with America's Got Talent which was up 1.1 million viewers but down two tenths in the demo from last week's 9pm episode. If only NBC could be getting these demos in the regular season. At 9pm, the second season premiere of Love in the Wild did not impress as it lost a ton of Talent's audience. Looks like it might be another low-rated summer for Wild. FOX had a second night of Hell's Kitchen/Masterchef. It was down from Monday but still decent. Masterchef actually built on Hell's but maybe that was because of less competition in the 9pm hour. Over on ABC, a 20/20 special about the Queen was similar to last week's 20/20 special about the Queen.

THE RUNDOWN: Wednesday, June 6 & Thursday, June 7

WEDNESDAY

ABC
8:00 The Middle #66 "Leap Year" (REPEAT)

10:00 CSI #263 "Willows in the Wind" Part 2 (REPEAT)
CBS is all new on Wednesday in the 8pm hour with week two of the reality show Dogs in the City. I wouldn't be surprised to see it drop from last week's ho-hum premiere.

NBC
8:00 Betty White's Off Their Rockers (REPEAT)
8:30 Up All Night #12 "New Year's Eve" (REPEAT)
9:00 Law & Order: SVU #286 "Home Invasions" (REPEAT)

FOX is all new with So You Think You Can Dance which should do quite well against very limited competition.

THURSDAY

ABC
8:00 Duets
10:00 Rookie Blue #29 "A Good Shot"
ABC is all new with its regular Thursday summer lineup. I think we'll see similar results to last week unless Duets continues to fall with the new competition.

CBS
8:00 The Big Bang Theory #100 "The Recombination Hypothesis" (REPEAT)
8:30 2 Broke Girls #2 "And the Break Up Scene" (REPEAT)
9:00 Person of Interest #14 "Wolf and Cub" (REPEAT)

8:30 Parks and Recreation #50 "Pawnee Rangers" (REPEAT)
9:00 Saving Hope #1 "Pilot" (SERIES PREMIERE)
10:00 Rock Center with Brian Williams
NBC is new from 9-11pm starting with a rare scripted series entry in the Canadian drama Saving Hope followed by Rock Center with Brian Williams in its new fall timeslot. I'd expect very low numbers for both.

FOX
8:00 Take Me Out (SERIES PREMIERE)
9:00 The Choice (SERIES PREMIERE)
FOX is all new with two summer dating game shows including the takeoff on The Voice - The Choice. I'd expect better numbers than ABC or NBC but nothing spectacular.

9:00 MasterChef
Viewers: 5.1 million, 18-49 demo: 2.3

On Monday night, FOX had two of its regular summer entries from Hell's Kitchen and MasterChef. Both premiered to good numbers on possibly the toughest night for competition this summer. MasterChef particularly was up nicely from last year as they remain a positive summer entry for FOX.Elsewhere, most shows were up after Memorial Day impacted last week. The Bachelorette was up a million viewers and three tenths in the demo for ABC. On NBC, America's Got Talent was up a good 2.2 million viewers and half a demo point while American Ninja Warrior was up a million viewers and a tenth in the demo.

Viewers: 3.8 million, 18-49 demo: 1.8
9:30 American Dad! (Repeat)
Viewers: 3.3 million, 18-49 demo: 1.5

On Sunday night, ABC was all new from 8-11pm with its inspirational reality shows. Both scored a 1.5 which is well below what they were doing when they last aired (Secret Millionaire at 8pm Sunday over a year ago and Extreme Makeover: Weight Loss Edition at 10pm Monday last summer). These aren't great numbers but they will probably do. In my opinion, ABC should rerun new Sunday companions Once Upon a Time and Revenge this summer. The numbers would be bad for sure but they might find some new viewers on the heels of their successful freshman seasons. NBC won the night for the broadcast networks with a better than expected number for Adele's concert as well as the Miss USA Competition.

MONDAY

8:30 2 Broke Girls #19 "And the Spring Break" (REPEAT)

FOX
8:00 Hell's Kitchen (Season Premiere)

8:30 Last Man Standing #19 "Ding Dong Ditch" (REPEAT)

9:00 NCIS: Los Angeles #58 "The Debt" (REPEAT)
10:00 48 Hours Mystery (REPEAT)

NBC
8:00 America's Got Talent
9:00 Love in the Wild (Season Premiere)
NBC is all new with America's Got Talent which should do well as usual and the season premiere of Love in the Wild. Last summer's numbers were ho-hum but with a better lead-in, it could be up from last year.

FOX
8:00 Hell's Kitchen
9:00 MasterChef
FOX has another night of its reality combo and I could see similar numbers to premiere night.

On Thursday, ABC was all new with week two of summer music competition Duets. It was down nine tenths in viewers and two tenths in the demo from last week's disappointing premiere. It's not the next American Idol or The Voice. At 10pm, Rookie Blue was down just four tenths and even in the demo from last week's season premiere. The only other new programming was the final two episodes of the season of Touch which hit series lows. I wouldn't be surprised to see it dip even further on Fridays in the fall.

ABC is all new on Sunday from 8-11pm with a night of inspirational reality series. At 8pm is the season premiere of Secret Millionaire, which hasn't aired a new episode in over a year as it was originally intended to premiere sometime during the season. Last seen, it did pretty decently in this Sunday slot. At 9pm is the season premiere of Extreme Makeover: Weight Loss Edition for a second summer. I expect both shows to do decently by summer standards.
