On Thursday night, the Vice Presidential debate took over the 9-11pm hours so it was only the 8pm shows that were around but CBS was on top as usual as The Big Bang Theory was down a million viewers and four tenths in the demo and Two and a Half Men was down nine tenths in viewers and just a tenth in the demo as it had better retention this week. Over on ABC, Last Resort was down a substantial 1.1 million viewers and three tenths in the demo. Was this because it was by itself and didn't have Grey's Anatomy following it? Or is it a sign of worse things to come? We'll know more next week. On NBC, 30 Rock was down a tenth in viewers and the demo from its terrible premiere last week while Up All Night was down two tenths in viewers and three tenths in the demo for a series low in the demo. How soon does Community come here with the announcement that it was pushed back from its planned Friday debut? On FOX, The X Factor was down nine tenths in viewers and three tenths in the demo for a series low.
