NBC got its Tuesday lineup kicked off early with its full fall lineup in tact. The results were mostly good but we'll see how things hold up in the week to come. The Voice was down slightly from Monday's season premiere but it towered against the light competition. Maybe the best news came at 9pm where episode two of Matthew Perry's Go On delivered really good numbers. It had a huge sampling after the Olympics but a fair number of people came back for episode two which is a good sign. There's no way it's staying here when the other shows come back but NBC has to be happy for now. There was also good news at 9:30pm where The New Normal was virtually dead even with its Monday premiere numbers despite a lower lead-in. Maybe NBC has something to this Tuesday block? It's so hard to judge when the competition is light. The weak point of the night was the season premiere of Parenthood which didn't do too well against very limited competition. If this is the high end for this show this season, that might be troublesome.
