On Friday night, CBS saw good results. At 8pm, Undercover Boss was up half a million viewers and even in the demo. This show is doing better than anything has done in recent memory in a difficult timeslot for CBS. I'd still advise CBS to try something different here in the fall and bring Boss back for midseason to limit fatigue for the show. At 9pm was a special airing of The Mentalist. Not surprisingly, it was down from its Thursday numbers but it still did well for Friday standards. I don't think CBS is ready to move this to Friday but it lose its Thursday 10pm slot if CBS does go to an extra comedy hour on Thursday. It's a tough call right now. At 10pm, Blue Bloods was down two tenths in viewers and a tenth in the demo. It continued to do well but didn't get much of a bump from a better lead-in.

Over on ABC, everything was down from last week. Shark Tank was down three tenths in viewers and two tenths in the demo, Primetime: What Would You Do? was down a million viewers and three tenths in the demo for season lows, and 20/20 was down seven tenths in viewers and two tenths in the demo. On NBC, Who Do You Think You Are? tumbled back from last week's spike as it was down a rough 2.3 million viewers and four tenths in the demo. Grimm was down a tenth in viewers and the demo while Dateline NBC was up a million viewers and two tenths in the demo.
