Perhaps you heard that the Super Bowl was on Sunday night? NBC's telecast of the thrilling Giants win once again broke record for all time viewership, topping last year's Super Bowl to become the most watched telecast ever in TV history. The NFL just continues to get stronger and they keep delivering thrilling, great Super Bowl contests. Will next year top this year in terms of ratings and excitement? Hard to imagine but it keeps happening! NBC's highly anticipated season premiere of The Voice got the coveted post-Super Bowl slot and really delivered, posting the best numbers for a regular series since Grey's Anatomy after the Super Bowl back in 2006. It easily outperformed Glee from last year and was a great fit for the Super Bowl audience. NBC needed big numbers for The Voice and got mammoth ones instead.
