THE RUNDOWN: Sunday, October 2

Check back later today for the first Weekend Rewind of the new fall season!

ABC
7:00 America's Funniest Home Videos (Season Premiere)
8:00 Extreme Makeover: Home Edition
9:00 Desperate Housewives #159 "Making the Connection"
10:00 Pan Am #2 "We'll Always Have Paris"
ABC has its full Sunday lineup for the first Sunday of October. The season premiere of veteran America's Funniest Home Videos starts things off followed by temporary placeholder Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. Last week, the season premiere of the final season of Desperate Housewives got off to a quiet start. I think it will likely keep dipping but might rise as it heads toward the series finale in May. At 10pm, Pan Am will air its second episode after a promising debut. It will obviously dip some but might be able to build on Housewives in viewers again as reaction has been good to the pilot.
Prediction: Videos - 5.7 million, 1.5/Makeover - 8.5 million, 2.2/Housewives - 9.1 million, 3.0/Pan Am - 9.9 million, 2.8

CBS
7:00 60 Minutes
8:00 The Amazing Race
9:00 The Good Wife #48 "The Death Zone"
10:00 CSI: Miami #215 "Stiff"
CBS has a doubleheader NFL Sunday which could push the start times back but might also help the overall numbers as 60 Minutes seems to spike big time off of football. That could have a ripple effect down the lineup unless it runs really long and sets the shows back 45 minutes or more.
Prediction: 60 Mins - 15.9 million, 3.8/Race - 11.2 million, 3.4/Wife - 10.5 million, 2.3/Miami - 10.4 million, 2.4

NBC
7:00 Football Night in America
8:30 Sunday Night Football: New York Jets at Baltimore
NBC has a great Sunday night game between two Super Bowl contenders. It should be up from last week's Pittsburgh-Indianapolis game.

FOX
7:00 The Cleveland Show #22 "Harder, Better, Faster, Browner" (REPEAT)
7:30 The Simpsons #483 "The Real Housewives of Fat Tony" (REPEAT)
8:00 The Simpsons #488 "Bart Stops to Smell the Roosevelts"
8:30 The Cleveland Show #45 "The Hurricane!"
9:00 Family Guy #167 "Seahorse Seashell Party"
9:30 American Dad! #117 "Hurricane!"
FOX doesn't have a direct NFL lead-in in most markets so expect numbers to drop across the board. After a new episode of The Simpsons, the other three shows all have a hurricane theme in their episodes. This was planned for the spring but then pulled after the deadly tornadoes. But now they will air. Still, it's likely to be down across the board.
Prediction: Simpsons 8:00 - 6.9 million, 3.4/Cleveland 8:30 - 5.4 million, 2.6/Family - 7.0 million, 3.9/Dad - 5.2 million, 2.5
