On Sunday night, CBS did not have an NFL doubleheader for the first time in three weeks. At 7pm, 60 Minutes was understandably down without the football lead-in - a big 2.3 million viewers and 1.5 demo points. Of course, it will pop up again the next time CBS has a doubleheader. At 8pm, The Amazing Race was down four tenths in viewers and a tenth in the demo for a season low. At 9pm, The Good Wife was dead even with last week. This show has its loyal audience that seems to show up whether the show is on Tuesdays or late on Sundays or on time on Sundays. Finally at 10pm, CSI: Miami was up four tenths in viewers and two tenths in the demo as it may have benefited from not stretching into the 11pm hour on the east coast.

ABC's demos are not looking so cherry on Sunday nights. At 7pm, America's Funniest Home Videos was down a tenth in viewers but up two tenths in the demo. At 8pm, the last Sunday airing of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition was down three tenths in viewers and a tenth in the demo. Regardless of how the new Once Upon a Time fares, its time for Home Edition to go somewhere else and Friday is a good plan. At 9pm, Desperate Housewives was down three tenths in viewers and a tenth in the demo, tying a series low. This show is not moving in the right direction towards its series finale. Maybe ABC should move the show to 10pm and try the new GCB at midseason at 9pm. At 10pm, Pan Am was down another six tenths in viewers and a tenth in the demo. This show just continues to go south. ABC might be patient with it for now but it's losing steam as fast as any new show this season and that won't do.

NBC's Sunday Night Football game between the Vikings and Bears was down big from last week but that's what happens when its a blowout between a bad team and a mediocre team. FOX had NFL overrun leading into a special night of The X-Factor. It did alright but was below its usual Wednesday and Thursday numbers. Of course it was a special airing that wasn't even a sure thing until the MLB Playoffs ended on Saturday so these numbers are understandable.
