ABC had a solid first Monday of summer where anything over a 2 in the demo has to be considered decent. The Bachelorette was down 1.8 million viewers and six tenths in the demo from last week's season premiere which followed Dancing with the Stars. It should stay close to this level which is solid enough for the summer. ABC got decent premiere numbers from the new inspirational reality show Extreme Makeover: Weight Loss Edition, which bowed to a good 2.4 demo. ABC should have a strong Monday lineup this summer. CBS was in repeats with its regular lineup.

NBC was partly new on Monday. Following a repeat of Minute to Win It, the network premiere of Law & Order: Criminal Intent was on the board but not very strong. Still, for a show that already aired on USA, this is not a bad performance. At 10pm, Law & Order: LA was up seven tenths in viewers and two tenths in the demo. The viewer total is the best since before its long hiatus but that doesn't make a difference as the show was cancelled. FOX was in repeats with two episodes of House.
