RATINGS RECAP: 5/1/11

Sunday's ratings were heavily impacted by the special reports broken into the 10pm hour on the East Coast with the great news of the capture and killing of Osama bin Laden. The times here reflect what was aired on the East Coast where networks broke in around 10:45pm ET. Some of the shows in the earlier hours did not air in all parts of the country which may contribute to numbers and the 10pm east coast shows did not finish their airing. The special report numbers did not count towards final ratings. Because of this, I will not offer analysis on what's up, what's down, etc for this night.
