THE RUNDOWN: Wednesday, April 20

8:00 The Middle #44 "Royal Wedding"
8:30 Better With You #18 "Better With Lying"
9:00 Modern Family #44 "Someone to Watch Over Lily"
9:30 Cougar Town #40 "Baby's a Rock 'n' Roller"
10:00 Happy Endings #3 "Your Couples Friends & Neighbors"
10:30 Happy Endings #4 "Mein Coming Out"
ABC is all new on Wednesday night with its three hours of comedy. The Middle and Better With You were down big in the 8pm hour last week and there’s no reason to believe this week will be any better. Modern Family should be similar to last week while Cougar Town returns at 9:30pm. Though Cougar is not against Idol, Monday’s results prove that it only has so much upside. It could return slightly above its last Wednesday episode. Two new episodes of new sitcom Happy Endings follow at 10pm. It won’t have as big a lead-in as last week and it dropped throughout its two episodes last week which seems to set up a big drop for this week.
Prediction: Middle – 6.2 million, 1.9/Better – 4.8 million, 1.5/Modern – 9.9 million, 4.0/Cougar – 6.9 million, 2.8/Happy 10:00 – 5.1 million, 2.1/Happy 10:30 – 4.5 million, 1.7

8:00 Survivor
9:00 Criminal Minds #123 "Into the Woods" (REPEAT)
10:00 Criminal Minds: Suspect Behavior #1 "Two of a Kind" (REPEAT)
CBS is only new in the 8pm hour with Survivor which should be steady. Criminal Minds should do solid in total viewers for a repeat and it will be interesting to see how Criminal Minds: Suspect Behavior does in its first repeat episode.
Prediction: Survivor – 10.9 million, 3.1/Criminal – 7.9 million, 2.0/Suspect – 5.9 million, 1.4

8:00 Minute to Win It
9:00 Minute to Win It (REPEAT)
10:00 Law & Order: SVU #252 "Merchandise" (REPEAT)
NBC has Minute to Win It and a repeat of Law & Order: SVU. That equals very low ratings for the peacock network.
Prediction: Minute 8:00 – 3.1 million, 0.8/Minute 9:00 – 3.1 million, 0.8/SVU – 5.1 million, 1.5

8:00 American Idol
9:30 Breaking In #3 "Need for Speed"
FOX is all new on Wednesday night. American Idol should be its usual dominating self while it will be interesting to see how Breaking In fares in its third week. With a big lead-in, it should steady itself soon but it still could be slightly down from last week.
Prediction: Idol – 22.0 million, 7.2/Breaking – 7.4 million, 2.4
