8:00 Dancing with the Stars (12th Edition Premiere)
10:00 Castle #52 "One Life to Lose"
ABC is all new on Monday night with the return of Dancing with the Stars. The show should easily dominate in total viewers as usual but the lineup of stars isn’t quite as buzzworthy as the past two seasons so it wouldn’t be surprising to see ratings down this edition. A powerful lead-in could help Castle get a first place finish in viewers and/or the demo but Hawaii Five-0 is new too.
Prediction: Dancing – 20.1 million, 4.9/Castle – 11.2 million, 2.9
Prediction: Dancing – 20.1 million, 4.9/Castle – 11.2 million, 2.9
CBS
8:00 How I Met Your Mother #131 "Legendaddy"
8:30 Mad Love #6 "The Spy Who Loved Me"
9:00 Two and a Half Men #170 "A Good Time in Central Africa" (REPEAT)
9:30 Mike & Molly #19 "Peggy Shaves Her Legs"
10:00 Hawaii Five-0 #19 "Ne Me's Laua Na Paio"
CBS is all new except for Two and a Half Men. In fact, Men is the only repeat in all the broadcast networks on Monday night. How I Met Your Mother with guest star John Lithgow will have to face Dancing with the Stars so it could be down. However, Mad Love with a new lead-in should be up. Mike & Molly could be down a bit against Dancing while Hawaii will be in a fight with Castle for a first place finish. Prediction: Mother – 8.8 million, 3.3/Mad Love – 7.5 million, 2.5/Men – 9.6 million, 2.5/Mike&Molly – 11.1 million, 3.2/Hawaii – 10.5 million, 2.7
NBC
8:00 Chuck #73 "Chuck Versus the Muurder"
9:00 The Event #14 "A Message Back"
10:00 Harry's Law #10 "Send in the Clowns"
NBC is all new but has tougher competition with the return of Dancing with the Stars and new comedies on CBS which could push its ratings even lower. Harry’s Law will likely have the only respectable showing but will certainly still be third to CBS and ABC.
Prediction: Chuck – 4.8 million, 1.6/Event – 4.0 million, 1.1/Harry’s – 9.2 million, 1.7
FOX
8:00 House #149 "Fall from Grace"
9:00 The Chicago Code #6 "The Gold Coin Kid"
FOX is all new but like NBC, it could take a hit against stiffer ABC and CBS competition. It wouldn’t be surprising to see The Chicago Code hit a series low this week.
Prediction: House – 9.9 million, 3.4/Chicago – 6.8 million, 1.8
