Most of the schedule was repeats on Thursday night. ABC had repeats across the board - Wipeout did alright for a repeat but their dramas don't repeat well. CBS had solid results for repeats, especially The Big Bang Theory which garnered a 2.5 for a repeat against a new American Idol. A new Rules of Engagement broke up the repeats but was down 1.3 million viewers and four tenths in the demo for season lows. It was expected to drop from last week but it was still behind a repeat lead-in, which is a problem. NBC had low numbers all night for six straight repeats of The Office. With very little competition, FOX and American Idol dominated more than usual and the Top 13 reveal show was up a nice 3.5 million viewers and a full demo point for its best Thursday numbers yet. This show beats all against competition but just dominates when its against repeats.
