ABC has an all-new Tuesday which includes the second season premiere of V. After a strong start last fall, V faded in the spring when it aired at 10pm Tuesdays (after Lost) but it has been given one more chance. It has been well-promoted and might see a sampling, but it won’t be huge. Family and Detroit will probably be around their usual numbers or perhaps slightly lower as they fight for survival.

Prediction: Family – 6.1 million, 1.8/V – 7.4 million, 2.2/Detroit – 6.6 million, 1.6

8:00 Live to Dance (SERIES PREMIERE)

10:00 NCIS #164 "Worst Nightmare" (REPEAT)

CBS is changing up its regular lineup for a two hour premiere of Paula Abdul’s new reality series Live to Dance. It has been well-promoted and Paula still has her fans from American Idol so a strong turnout should be expected. We’ll see if it holds up. At 10pm is a repeat of NCIS at a special time.

Prediction: Dance – 12.7 million, 3.0/NCIS – 9.0 million, 1.7

8:00 The Biggest Loser (11th Edition Premiere)

10:00 Parenthood #24 "Damage Control"

NBC has an all-new Tuesday night. The 11^th Edition of The Biggest Loser kicks things off and is a Couples Edition for the fourth time. Loser dropped a lot in the fall before perking up towards the end. Against Live to Dance, it may continue its general downward trend. Parenthood is new for the first time since November 23 and should be at its usual levels.

Prediction: Loser – 6.8 million, 2.5/Parenthood – 4.7 million, 1.9

8:00 Glee #23 "Audition" (REPEAT)

9:00 Million Dollar Money Drop

FOX starts things off with a Glee repeat and then the new game show Million Dollar Money Drop, which had fair ratings during its Christmas week premiere. Expect fair numbers for both shows.

Prediction: Glee – 5.2 million, 1.7/Money Drop – 5.2 million, 1.8
