ABC
7:00 America's Funniest Home Videos
8:00 Extreme Makeover: Home Edition
9:00 Desperate Housewives #136 "You Must Meet My Wife" (REPEAT)
10:00 Brothers & Sisters #90 "Faking It" (REPEAT)
ABC decided not to compete much with the AFC Championship Game on CBS. The 7-9pm hours should be low due to football competition and Desperate Housewives and Brothers & Sisters don't repeat well.
Prediction: AFHV - 5.7 million, 1.0/Makeover - 7.5 million, 1.8/Housewives - 3.9 million, 1.1/Brothers - 2.9 million, 0.8
CBS
7:00 AFC Championship Game: New York Jets at Pittsburgh
10:00 Hawaii Five-0 #15 "Kai e'e"
CBS is airing the AFC Championship Game for most of primetime which should deliver killer ratings as football has all season. They are using it to showcase Hawaii Five-0 and get some more sampling for the successful but still-below-expectations freshman series. Post football shows have gotten huge ratings this year and that should continue as they will promote it throughout the game. Look for series highs.
Prediction: Hawaii - 17.7 million, 4.2
NBC
7:00 Dateline NBC
8:00 MOVIE: Sex and the City
After Dateline NBC, NBC is going for counter-programming with the movie Sex and the City. Don't look for too much success there.
Prediction: Dateline - 4.6 million, 0.9/Sex - 4.8 million, 1.1
FOX
7:00 The Simpsons #466 "Loan-a-Lisa" (REPEAT)
7:30 American Dad! #106 "Stanny Boy and Frantastic"
8:00 The Simpsons #476 "Homer the Father"
8:30 Bob's Burgers #3 "Sacred Cow"
9:00 Family Guy #153 "Brian Writes a Bestseller" (REPEAT)
9:30 The Cleveland Show #33 "Like a Boss"
FOX is airing new episodes of its comedies except for Family Guy despite airing against football. These have similar appeal as football and after the season highs these shows were seeing when they aired out of football two weeks ago could change to season lows as they compete this week. It could be rough.
Prediction: Simpsons 7:00 - 2.0 million, 0.8/Dad - 3.2 million, 1.5/Simpsons 8:00 - 5.1 million, 2.5/Burgers - 3.9 million, 1.8/Family - 4.9 million, 2.2/Cleveland - 4.4 million, 2.1
