Thursday night of premiere week brings a trio of new shows that haven't been getting great reviews coupled with aging but still potent hits. ABC could have a DOA show in My Generation which won't be a self-starter and will probably have disappointing numbers. Grey's Anatomy could have a strong debut as a follow up to its well-received season finale and Private Practice will benefit from a stronger Grey's lead-in as usual. All eyes are on CBS to see how The Big Bang Theory will do in its new slot but if last week's reruns are any indication, it should be in good shape - just how close it gets to the numbers it was getting on Monday will be interesting but viewer and demo wins are expected. $#*! My Dad Says is a question mark and its retention from Big Bang will be key but it could be disappointing. Veterans CSI and The Mentalist should continue to get high total viewer numbers but will probably be down a bit from last fall if the trend of this week holds up. NBC's comedy lineup returns and numbers will be low as usual with The Office being the strongest performer. 30 Rock will see a large dropoff in its new time, possibly hovering around the numbers Parks & Recreation was getting in the same slot. The new entry Outsourced will probably see numbers slightly lower than Community's 9:30 debut last year. The Apprentice will likely be down from its already weak premiere last week. FOX will likely see similar but slightly down numbers for Bones and Fringe.
